The kit is designed for toddlers from approximately 13 to 18 months.
Not every activity is meant to be introduced at once. The kit grows with your child, with new ways to play becoming relevant as their coordination, fine motor skills, language and problem-solving develop.
Because development changes quickly during this stage.
You can begin with simpler pulling and sensory activities from around 13 months, then gradually introduce stacking, matching, rolling and early sorting activities as your child is ready.
There is no need to rush — follow your child’s interest and abilities.
Each activity focuses on skills that become increasingly important during the second year of life, including:
- fine motor skills and grasping,
- hand-eye coordination,
- matching and problem-solving,
- early vocabulary,
- sensory exploration,
- cause-and-effect understanding,
- and open-ended creative play.
The activities encourage your toddler to learn through touching, turning, pulling, stacking, rolling and exploring.
Place the car at the top of the ramp and let your toddler release it and watch it roll down.
Repeating this simple action helps your child explore movement, speed and cause and effect while practising coordination and purposeful hand movements.
As confidence grows, your toddler can experiment with different starting positions and repeat the activity independently.
Start simply by looking at the cards together and naming familiar vehicles.
Your toddler can point to the car, bus, train, plane or other vehicles while gradually building vocabulary and visual recognition.
Later, the cards can also be sorted into land, air and water transport, giving the activity a new challenge as your child grows.
The wooden shapes are designed for open-ended play.
Your toddler can stack them, build simple structures, arrange them in different ways or combine them with other toys.
